Kannengieser 2

Heidi tells us she combines her silversmith talents with specially selected stones and beads to fashion her jewelry.  Going into detail she says, “Following a long process of cutting slabs from large hunks of stones, I select specific sections to carefully cut out on a second saw, then painstakingly smooth stones on progressively finer sanding grits until only a final polishing with a special paste releases the inner beauty of the stone to be set. Torch firing and soldering with silver blanks, chains and coils completes a setting unique to each finished stone.”
